Pablo Picasso: Le seigneur et la dame, 1972 Original Lithograph Arches

"Le seigneur et la dame" (The Lord and the Dame) One of the very few original lithographs by Picasso, for Fernand Mourlot's portfolio "Souvenirs et portraits d'artistes". According to the catalogue raisonné, Picasso drew this lithograph on the stone already in 1959. However, it has been printed only once for this 1972 portfolio. This is  N O T  a mass-produced art print (e.g. offset or grano lithograph from a later "Limited edition") but the original lithograph from the collector's de luxe edition of the a.m. portfolio. WARNING: There are currently very similar-looking prints offered on the internet. These are unauthorized reprints (pirated copies or better said: fake prints) and NO original lithographs!   Edition: One of 800 unsigned impressions for the original "de luxe" edition.
