"Paris" - Hommage à Aimé et Marguerite Maeght


Large original lithograph in colours titled "Paris Districts" by the Belgian artist with overpainted parts of the Paris city map - here the four districts 2 (Bourse), 7 (Palais Bourbon), 10 (Entrepôt) und 16 (Passy). This graphic was Alechinsky's contribution to the portfolio "Hommage à Aimé et Marguerite Maeght", published in 1982 as a retrospect on the occasion of Aimé Maeghts death. 24 of "their" artists contributed with original graphic works.
